A custom-made light designed specifically for RAV Vast tongue drums. Aura transforms your drum and your space with a mesmerizing display of color, motion, and rhythm — reacting live to your playing and the music around it.
Every mode is sound-reactive — strike the drum and the lights answer. The modes are grouped into playlists you sweep through as you play: the Green playlist is full-color and atmospheric with a gentle low-to-medium flash, while the Blue playlist runs faster and punchier for high-energy sessions. Mark the ones you love and they gather in your Red favorites playlist. With 40+ built-in modes and adjustable brightness, you can dial in exactly the mood you want.
Strong integrated magnets attach Aura securely to the underside of your drum. Off the instrument, it clings to any magnetic surface — or just set it on a tabletop to light up the room and play along with other instruments.
Two twist-on covers let you shape the look: a clear cover renders each LED as a crisp, defined point of light, while a frosted cover melts them into a soft, diffuse glow — changing the character of every mode in seconds.
The 1500mAh rechargeable battery runs 3–8 hours — brighter, sound-reactive modes drain faster; dim or mostly-dark modes stretch much longer. It charges over USB-C (0 to full in about 2.5 hours). In the box: the Aura Light, both LED covers (clear and frosted), an instruction booklet, and a 3ft USB-C cable. Firmware is updatable, so new modes and features arrive over time.

Installing Aura on a RAV Vast requires removing the wooden plug on the bottom of the drum — an optional modification done at your discretion. The plug comes out by hand with a little gentle heat (a hair dryer works), and can be reattached later with silicone or rubber glue. Full instructions are in the setup guide.
In our testing, removing the plug hasn't made a noticeable difference in sound, though players with highly sensitive ears or studio recording needs may want to consider it first.
