Hey, I’m Trent — the designer, engineer, and one-person crew behind Space Captain. I’ve always loved messing around with electronics and turning ideas into something you can actually hold. Over time that turned into a pretty serious hobby with LEDs, sensors, and all kinds of interactive tech.

Space Captain is just me in my small workshop in Plano, Texas, building lights and gadgets that mix art and engineering in a fun way. I design everything from the circuit boards to the firmware to the 3D-printed housings, and I try to keep things simple, reliable, and a little magical.

I’m always experimenting with new ideas, whether it’s interactive lighting, sound-reactive pieces, or other weird electronics that make me excited to tinker. The goal is to make things that feel alive — something you pick up and instantly get a spark from.
